Represented by a sun on the horizon in between two lions facing different directions. (One lion is facing west the other east where the sun sets and rises.

The lions were named Sef and Tuau, Sef meaning 'Yesterday' and Tuau meaning 'today'.

In ancient Egypt it was believed that the sun every night made a journey through a tunnel located in the center of the earth. Aker or Akeru guards the entrances to this tunnel.

Aker is an old god that has been a part of Egyptian religion for a long time.
