Aten

Aten more then being a god mostly represented the actual sun than anything else.

However, Aten was worshiped by the Pharaoh Amenhotep IV, also called Akhenaten, who worshiped him above all other gods. He even began destroying anything (artifacts, tombs, etc) that made mention of any other god or even the word "gods" because it implies there are others aside from Aten, and of course, himself. Atenism quickly died however after Akhenaten's death, and Aten' s name faded with it.
